1> Keep it simple and directed to its purpose.
2> The text contains the ideas and details.  Make it as interesting  and concise as possible. 
3> Avoid animations or structures that make text hard to read and detract the eye.
4> Use graphics to clearly illustrate an idea or create a feeling of quality, unity, neatness and completeness .

A web site shouldn't cost more than $30/year for domain registration and hosting, which I can arrange. The only additional costs will be for updating content.  I will usually design a site for $35 per home page and $25 for each additional page, if content is supplied.  Graphics conversions are $5 each unless needing correction or enhancement.  Other services at $25 per hour.
